Even though the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays scored an imposing 67 points on Monday, the Destin Sharks still came out on top. Destin took their match against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy 74-67. That's another feather in the cap for Destin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Destin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Imaran Harris out in front who scored 17 points. The game was Harris' third in a row with at least ten points. Traiton Mauffray was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Destin and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Destin will be home for the holidays to greet South Walton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Marianna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
