Wasatch is a perfect 3-0 against Payson since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wasps will head out to face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Wasatch and four for Payson.

On Friday, Wasatch was just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to Pleasant Grove.

Meanwhile, Payson played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-20 to Spanish Fork. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Wasatch will have to contain Hayden Jarvis as he made an impact in Payson's last game. He rushed for 102 yards and one score, and also picked up 97 receiving yards.

Wasatch now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Payson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Wasatch against Payson when the teams last played back in October of 2019, as the team secured a 42-7 win. In that contest, the Wasps amassed a halftime lead of 42-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
