Football Game Preview: Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks vs. Midwood Hornets

The Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks will face off against the Midwood Hornets at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Frank J. Macchiarola comes in on nine and Midwood on three.

Frank J. Macchiarola is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Stuyvesant, posting a 54-12 win. Considering the Sharks have won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Frank J. Macchiarola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zyaire Walker and Wade Evans. Evans got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Midwood made easy work of John Adams on Saturday and carried off a 31-6 victory.

Frank J. Macchiarola's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Midwood, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
