Volleyball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella lost against Chilton County on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Leading Chilton County to victory were Amelia Smith and Kendall Moore. Smith had ten digs and two aces, while Moore had seven digs and three aces. Those ten digs gave Smith a new career-high.

Isabella has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Chilton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Isabella has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Marbury on the 2nd. As for Chilton County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Jemison on the 27th.
