Soccer Game Preview: Brockway vs. North Clarion

The Brockway Rovers will head out on the road to take on the North Clarion Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Brockway took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Brookville with a sharp 4-0 win. Brockway might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Clarion beat Brookville 5-3 on Saturday. Given North Clarion's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Brookville are ranked 409th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for North Clarion and bumps their season record up to 12-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. As for Brockway, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-5.
