Burbank is 9-1 against Highlands since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Burbank Bulldogs will host the Highlands Owls at 6:30 p.m.

Highlands is facing Burbank at the wrong time: Burbank suffered their first home loss of the season on Wednesday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 7-3.

Highlands fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Edison. Two seems to be a good number for the Owls as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Burbank's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Highlands, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.

Burbank came out on top in a nail-biter against Highlands when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 1-0. Does Burbank have another victory up their sleeve, or will Highlands turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
