Softball Preview: Biggs Wolverines vs. Maxwell Panthers

The Biggs Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Maxwell Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Biggs is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.

Biggs is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout on Wednesday, just like they did against Los Molinos (and have done all season long). Biggs blew past Los Molinos 10-4.

Not much got past Riley Harrison, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Los Molinos off the board. Harrison has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Mailey Seipert was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Scott, who scored three runs while going 4-for-5.

Maxwell lost 10-2 to Hamilton on Friday.

Biggs' win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Maxwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-1.
