Basketball Recap: Jayhawk Linn Gets the Win

Jayhawk Linn pushed their score to 28 the last time they played Central Heights, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks pulled ahead with a 32-31 photo finish over the Central Heights Vikings. This was payback for the Jayhawks, who suffered an 80-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Jayhawk Linn and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Central Heights, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jayhawk Linn will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Crest on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Central Heights and Uniontown will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another on January 3, 2025.
