Football Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence lost against West Hempstead back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The matchup between the Golden Tornadoes and the Rams didn't end well, with the Golden Tornadoes falling 28-12.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Hempstead, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lawrence will face off against rival Oyster Bay at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, West Hempstead is set to square off against their familiar foe Plainedge on Saturday.
