Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross fell victim to Holy Redeemer and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Royals. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost three in a row.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Holy Redeemer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Holy Cross didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 loss against Dunmore on the 12th. As for Holy Redeemer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Wyoming Seminary College Prep on the 12th.
