Jacksonville got a great performance from Jace Brindel as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Brindel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Dominic King was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Vasco Sutton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Jacksonville's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for White Oak, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
