Bonanza is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Cimarron-Memorial just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans.

Despite the defeat, Bonanza got top-tier performance from Lauryn Jennings, who had 15 digs and six aces. Jennings has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last ten times she's played. Alexandria Aguirre was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.
Meanwhile, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas earned a 3-1 victory over Rancho on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas found their leader in sophomore Jinelle David, who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for David.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' win bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Bonanza, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Bonanza has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 14.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Bonanza might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
