Clifton has gone 8-2 against Whitney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cubs will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clifton has seven straight wins, Whitney has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Clifton will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating West, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cubs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Friday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Whitney and McGregor, and McGregor kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0.

Whitney took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Clifton's victory bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Whitney, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything went Clifton's way against Whitney in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Clifton made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Cubs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
