Southern Lee is a perfect 6-0 against Hoke County since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Southern Lee is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 18 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Pinecrest on Friday. They fell 7-2 to the Patriots.

Southern Lee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan McCollum, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Hoke County fell victim to Richmond and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 10-0.

Hoke County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. Southern Lee suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 7-3.

Everything went Southern Lee's way against Hoke County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Southern Lee made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southern Lee since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
