Soccer Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smiths Station Panthers.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Smiths Station, they moved to 3-9-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenwood will welcome Jordan at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Smiths Station, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
