Baker was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Davidson on Thursday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 13-3 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Baker has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Davidson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-20-1.

Baker will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
