If Pomeroy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dayton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates came up short against the Oakesdale Nighthawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pomeroy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Oakesdale, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.
