Basketball Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Alexander Bulldogs and fell 81-47. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 57-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Alexander, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing United the next time they take the court. Laredo LBJ will host United at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Alexander will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
