Northwest is a perfect 3-0 against Norton since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Northwest and four for Norton.

Northwest made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Manchester, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday.

Northwest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Lyons, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Eilley Weber also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Norton came up short against Ellet on Monday and fell 5-2.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Norton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Northwest was able to grind out a solid win over Norton in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, winning 3-0. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
