Softball Recap: Jacobs Comes Up Short

Jacobs suffered their biggest loss since May 2, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 13-4 to the Huntley Red Raiders. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacobs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Hoch, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Kendall Davignon also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Jacobs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Huntley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Jacobs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-6 loss against Schaumburg on the 11th. As for Huntley, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against East Peoria on the 11th.
