Soccer Recap: Veterans Comes Up Short

Veterans lost against Columbus back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warhawks fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils. Veterans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Veterans' loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Columbus, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Veterans and Columbus should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Warhawks will take on Colquitt County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (90 vs. 252). Meanwhile, Columbus (ranked 45th) will meet Sumter County (ranked 379th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
