Baseball Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 back in April.

North Branch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Pederson, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Jackson Puelston also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

North Branch's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Chisago Lakes Area, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

North Branch has already played their next matchup, a 12-7 defeat against Zimmerman on the 8th. As for Chisago Lakes Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Princeton on the 8th.
