Brookhaven is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Natchez a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Brookhaven Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Natchez Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Brookhaven is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Brookhaven will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Bogue Chitto on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Bobcats. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.

Brookhaven let Journi Hunt and Mia Lee run wild. Hunt went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Lee scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI Hunt has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kennedi Dickey, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Brookhaven kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Natchez lost 10-3 to Raymond on Tuesday.

Natchez's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Brookhaven, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Brookhaven took their victory against Natchez when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 20-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
