Softball Recap: Northeast Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Northeast won the last time they faced South River and things went their way on Tuesday too. Northeast was the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over South River. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kayleigh Fyffe looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Madison Burris was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brynn Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-5.

Northeast's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 8.7 runs thus far As for South River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
