Basketball Game Preview: Castle Rock Rockets vs. Fort Vancouver Trappers

The Castle Rock Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Fort Vancouver Trappers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Castle Rock came up short against Seton Catholic on Friday, falling 70-44. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Fort Vancouver beat Kalama 61-54 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trappers.

Fort Vancouver is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Castle Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Castle Rock couldn't quite finish off Fort Vancouver in their previous matchup on January 9th and fell 61-59. Can Castle Rock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
