Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for Northpoint Christian

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Northpoint Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over the Trinity Christian Academy Lions. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly two points.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian Academy lost, don't look at Tori Robinson. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-15 on her way to 18 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That's the most boards Robinson has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hidrogo, who earned six points.

Northpoint Christian's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9.
