Lyla Keepes gave up the fewest walks she has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. She wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her third straight with seven or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Keepes and Mt. Carmel will head out to challenge Wayne City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
