Baseball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn scored first but ultimately less than Wiseburn- Da Vinci in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 15-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bert Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Rodriguez posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Angel Aguilar was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will challenge Whitney at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Glenn's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will square off against North at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
