Triumph Charter and Kennedy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Triumph Charter had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Laila Teplin was the offensive standout of the match as she had four digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (25). Another player making a difference was Byanca Aleman, who had 15 assists and four digs.

Triumph Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 28-6. As for Kennedy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season.

Triumph Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennedy, they will take on San Pedro at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
