Softball Preview: Bloomfield Bombers vs. Williamson Marauders

The Bloomfield Bombers will head out on the road to take on the Williamson Marauders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Ashlyn Wright made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Wright has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Wright was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two doubles, and a run.
