Basketball Game Preview: Lewis Lancers vs. Edison Eagles + How To Watch

Lewis hasn't had much luck against Edison recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Lewis will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Mount Vernon, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lancers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 victory over the Majors on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted since December 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, Edison beat Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology 48-36 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Colonials are ranked 262nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lewis' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
