Football Recap: Old Redford Academy Comes Up Short

Old Redford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 18-6 to the Edison Academy Pioneers. The Ravens were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Old Redford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Edison Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Old Redford Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Michigan Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Edison Academy will take on rival Voyageur Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
