Jenkins County came out on top against Portal on Friday thanks in part to Justin Wright's efforts. Wright threw for 148 yards and a pair of TDs on only five passes, which was good enough to set a new career-high in passing yards.

Coming up, Wright and Jenkins County are taking a road trip to take on Emanuel County Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wright will face off against Jackson Kennedy, the Bulldogs' star quarterback.
