Baseball Recap: Aransas Pass Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Aransas Pass's offense. They came up short against the Mathis Pirates on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Aransas Pass' record now sits at 6-8-1. As for Mathis, they moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aransas Pass is set to challenge their familiar foe West Oso at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mathis will face off against rival George West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
