Loveland posted their closest victory since April 23, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Turpin Spartans, sneaking past 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Helena Keeton was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Rohlfs, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Loveland's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Turpin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loveland will challenge Winton Woods at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Turpin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
