Basketball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Skates Past Jefferson with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Arrupe Jesuit on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Jefferson Saints out of the water with an 87-36 final score. The matchup marked the Generals' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Louie Garcia was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 15 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Martinez, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 10 points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Arrupe Jesuit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive games.
