Softball Recap: John F. Kennedy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for John F. Kennedy's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Holy Cross Knights on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rockets were not able to get on the board.

John F. Kennedy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. The win (which was Holy Cross' fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coming up, John F. Kennedy will square off against St. Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. John F. Kennedy has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Holy Cross, they will take on Incarnate Word at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th. Holy Cross will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
