Recap: Mountain View Bruins vs. Snow Canyon Warriors

The Mountain View Bruins pushed their score all the way to 64 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-64 to Snow Canyon. Mountain View has not had much luck with Snow Canyon recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mountain View's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Conner Fairbanks, who scored 22 points. The match was Fairbanks' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Simeon Suguturaga, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds.

Owen Mackay had an outrageously good game for Snow Canyon as he dropped a double-double on 38 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mackay has scored at least 25% of Snow Canyon's points. Carter Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Snow Canyon, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will take on Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Snow Canyon, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Canyon View has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matchups.
