Baseball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Takes a Loss

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Rappahannock County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Stonewall Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Rappahannock County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Coincidentally, Stonewall Jackson and Rappahannock County will both be playing Strasburg the next time they take the field. The Generals will host the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rappahannock County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on May 2.
