North County Christian won the last time they faced Veritas Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. North County Christian came out on top against the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 68-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North County Christian.

Despite the defeat, Veritas Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Niemeyer went 12 for 25 en route to 26 points and six rebounds. Those 26 points gave Niemeyer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jake Markham, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

North County Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Veritas Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-6.

North County Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they and Elsberry will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
