Riverheads won against Waynesboro on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Gladiators put the hurt on the Stonewall Jackson Generals with a sharp 10-2 win. That looming 10-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Gladiators yet this season.

The victory got Riverheads back to even at 6-6. As for Stonewall Jackson, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverheads will face off against Staunton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stonewall Jackson, they will square off against Madison County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mountaineers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.88 runs per game on average), something the Generals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
