Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Gilbert Classical Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Heritage Academy Heroes 3-0. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Heroes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gilbert Classical Academy took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Martina Adsara Criscuolo, who had six aces and three digs.

Adsara Criscuolo wasn't the only good server: Gilbert Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Gilbert Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mountainside on the 29th. As for Heritage Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Willow Canyon on the 29th.
