Baseball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Hampton couldn't beat Magnet Cove on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Bulldogs lost 11-4 to the Panthers.

Jaedon Thomas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run.

Hampton has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17-1 record this season. As for Magnet Cove, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will head out to take on England at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magnet Cove, they will challenge Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
