Roby won against Knox City last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Lions blew past the Baird Bears 15-7. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Roby is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Baird, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roby beat the Bears by a score of 23-8 later that day.
