Volleyball Recap: West Holt Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

West Holt waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over South Loup. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

West Holt easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16.

Kamrynn Slaymaker paced West Holt's offense, picking up four kills. Slaymaker got some help from Pavan Larson and her 11 assists. Larson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Holt's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for South Loup, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

West Holt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Centura on the 11th. As for South Loup, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Fullerton on the 11th.
