Sumner came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Mount Tahoma T-Birds with a sharp 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Sumner's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-8.

Sumner's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Sumner will challenge Bethel at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mount Tahoma, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Central Kitsap on the 16th.
