Softball Recap: East Hamilton Takes a Loss

East Hamilton lost against Silverdale Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hurricanes fell just short of the Seahawks by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by just one run.

East Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Silverdale Academy, their victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3-1.

Coming up, East Hamilton is taking a road trip to square off against Bradley Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Silverdale Academy, they will host Baylor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Seahawks surely won't give up without a fight.
