Basketball Recap: A.C. Flora Comes Up Short

A.C. Flora saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Wallace Campbell, who posted 21 points for Fort Mill. The team also got some help courtesy of Nas Berry, who had ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for A.C. Flora and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Fort Mill, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A.C. Flora will face off against South Pointe at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Fort Mill, they will square off against Clover at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Fort Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
