Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short

Fayetteville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Cascade Champions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-35 back in December of 2024.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cascade, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Fayetteville will head out on the road to square off against Huntland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cascade, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grundy County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
