Softball Recap: Wheaton North Falcons vs. St. Charles East Fighting Saints

Wheaton North extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 17-5 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Charles East Fighting Saints. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Saints earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Hannah Wulf was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
